Date Night

Tuesdays at our house is the best night of the week because it's DATE NIGHT! I love this day of the week! (I'm sure David does to ;) Around here we're always talking about what were going to do for date night and what's something new that we haven't done yet. Well a few weeks ago for date night we got to spend the evening in urgent care. (No need to worry it's not as bad as it sounds.) David had strained his back a bit at work and needed to have it looked at. Now this surely wasnt' something we had done for date night yet but it was adventurous to say the least. We waited for a good hour and a half before being sent to a room to wait ,yet again, before the Doctor could see us. Now the long wait, the tiny room, the sick people these were all great highlights of the night but the best part... was when the nurse made David put these lovely blue shorts on! I laughed so hard when he put these sexy things on! He SO did not want his picture taken but I couldn't help myself. :) Needless to say it was one GREAT date night, Daivd ended up being okay and we had a good laugh.

CuTe PiCs

So there are tons of other posts that I need to catch up on but I was at my parent's house today and I found this picture of us! It reminded me so much of a picture that my sister took of us when we were dating. So I decided that I HAD to post these two pictures TODAY or I'd forget about it and it would never happen.

The above picture is from last week after the air show for David's birthday. We were SO tired. We did a lot of walking and sitting in the sun that day. It felt good to snuggle and fall asleep after fighting the cold wind. :)

The picture below is from when we were dating in 2006. It looks like I had just gotten home from my job at Z'Tejas. Back then we didn't get to see each other as much as we do n0w (which is still not enough if you ask me). So if seeing each other meant falling asleep for an hour before David had to go home we gladly took it.

I love being so comfortable and content in his arms! *Even if you can see up my nose! Haha!

The Dogs Aren't For Sale Today!

*Funny note: Pepper never eats her treat right away
she just sits there with it in her mouth. She's such a weird dog!
Sadly this was the only picture of Lucy. I think David
wanted a kiss! Kidding! :)

So last week I got lucky enough to have an extra day off work on David's day off! So we packed a lunch and our dogs and headed to Mt. Charleston. To be honest we weren't too exited about taking Lucy and Pepper (our dogs). It's such a pain to take them anywhere! But we felt bad for how often they're neglected, so we took them. The crazy thing is that we loved it! The dogs were so good and happy to be out of their confinement of the kitchen. The fresh air was so great, and their wasn't a soul around. We let the dogs run free, had lunch and we tried to play catch. (I say try because I've turned into such a scaredy cat since we got married. I can't even catch a softball! How sad.) But I loved how nice it was to get away from the city and the worldly things and just enjoy the simple things God has given us! It was a great day! Can't wait to go back soon. :)

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY!

Two years ago! I can't believe it!

David and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary two weeks ago, and I can't believe how fast it's gone by! We spent the whole day together (which is a rare occasion, unless it's Sunday). We went to a few of our favorite dating spots, the Bellagio fountains and the Hover Dam. It was so nice to just relax and spend the day together! It feels like our wedding day was so long ago and yet I can't believe it's been two years. I LOVE that we still love each other as much as we did the day we walked out of those temple doors! 2 years of wedded bliss, and we can't wait for more! I LOVE YOU DAVID!

Duck Creek... just because

So I'm not quite sure how to blog yet, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Duck Creek! Where the grass is always greener and the air is always fresh! :)

David and I took a mini vacation for 2 days in Cedar City. We took the long way into Cedar from St. George and stopped at a few cool places along the way. We stayed at an okay Motel 6 (that was until we noticed the KOA cabins for $44 a night!) On day two we spent the entire day at Duck Creek, with the ducks, deer and tons of sheep! We had a great time and can't wait to go back soon! Hope you enjoy the pics.
