Birtday Party for the Birthday Girl

Abigail's birthday party was so much fun! We were able to have all of our family members over and they spoiled her! We are so blessed to have such an amazing family that all lives so close. Abi was a hoot! She loved opening presents and definately loved eating her cake. There's a lot of pictures but I couldn't help myself. Enjoy!

How did this happen?!!

I never really understood the meaning of time until we had Abigail. And I honestly can't believe our baby girl is one! This past year has brought so many adjustments to our lives, but we wouldn't trade it for the world.

Miss Abigail we love you so much. You are such a happy little girl and have been since the day you were born. You love fruit, crawling around and especially waiving to everyone you see. You love your pink blanket and a stuffed monkey named Bonzi that is your uncle Kenny's. You say lots of words like Mama, Dadda, uh oh, Hello, Lucy, Ma Ma (grandma) & nana (banana, which we are pretty sure means anything pertaining to food). You can sign the word more, thanks to your Aunt Rachael. You don't walk but you sure do get around fast when you crawl! You have a few nicknames, Mommy & Daddy call you "Sunshine", Aunt Heather calls you "Abergail", Grandpa Carter calls you"B-gail", & Grandma Lynes calls you "Peanut"! Everyone loves you so much! We've been so blessed to have you Little Miss! Happy 1st Birthday!

Thanksgiving 2011

This was a year ago last Thanksgiving. Only 4 days before we got to meet our sweet Abi. I can't believe she's already one! (A post coming soon about this.)

Thanksgiving 2011- What a cute family!

This year was a little different than the last few years. We normally split the day with my parents and David's parents but this year my family was out of town. We sure missed them, but we had an amazing evening with the Carter Family.

So we spent a very lazy morning in bed with Miss Abigail, which the three of us enjoyed. :)

We met up with David's family at Nana & Papa's house for a great turkey dinner & pumpkin pie, yum! Here a few candid pictures from the night...

These two are only 4 months apart and are starting to play together. It's so much fun to watch them! I really wished I would have gotten a picture of them at dinner. They sat on the table together next to each other in their booster seats and were sharing food. It was so adorable!

We had such a great Thanksgiving and loved spending time with David's family. We are so thankful to have such amazing family members and to live so close to all of them.
