Baby Blessings

This sweet little girl has blessed our lives so much.

This past Sunday we were able to giver her a name and a blessing. We were able to celebrate with both sides of our family and couldn't have enjoyed our selves more. We love our families so much!

We live for the most perfect and sweet little girl we could have ever been given. Our baby has been the sweetest blessing! We love you Abigail Reese!

Summer Fun Part 1

In August we were lucky enough to go to Utah and see my best friend Brittany get married! She looked so beautiful and happy that day. (She made part of her own dress. Did I mention she was amazing?) She married a great guy and we're are so excited for them to start their new life together.

Where have we been?

We've been keeping busy! An update of our adventures this summer will follow shortly with so many cute pictures of the babe... and us. :)

A Day In California

We took a quick trip to California this past weekend. (Definition of quick trip: Arrive in California around 1 am Sunday morning, leave California around 8pm and arrive back at home around 1am Monday morning.) Truly a quick trip but so worth the lack of sleep. I'll admit I think a few of us were tempted to just turn around and drive back home before even reaching the beach. The day was so great and Abigail was such a doll! She is the most chill baby, she loved the water and sand. Right before we left I rinsed her off in the cold shower and she loved that too. She was all smiles. We had quite the adventures, David and my Dad swam out too far and the life guard had to go save them... kidding there was a rip current so the life guard advised that they come back in. Kenny got all tangled up in seaweed, Rach, Meg and I found a dead seal :( it was SO smelly) and of course all the boys had to go see. And right before we left David had to fight a guy for our chair... okay not really fight him but he didn't speak English so David had to communicate to him in Spanish. ( David is so wonderful, he made sure that he found his chair before we left. ) It was such a great day we were able to visit with Grandpa Lynes, who seems to be so lonely since Grandma died, and spend an awesome 4 hours at the beach.

6 Months **Warning Picture Overload!**

I had such a hard time choosing which pictures to put up, she's just so cute!

Miss Abigail is officially 6 months old and quickly approaching 7 months. Her current stats are:

Height: 26 1/2 inches

Weight: 14 pounds

She's long and lean and as cute as a button! She is so much fun at this age. Don't get me wrong we've enjoyed all the stages as they've come but it's amazing how much she's blossomed into a little person. She is such a happy little girl. The Little Miss rolls all over the place, sits up all by herself, officially has a tooth (as of last week :), she eats bananas, green beans, yellow squash and avocado. She gets excited and squeals when Daddy plays peak-a-boo. She loves to be held and hates to be left alone. And one of my favorites, she snuggles just like she did when she was an infant. I cannot get enough of this little girl! Parenthood is one of our Father in Heaven's greatest gifts!

Now that we're almost 6 months...

I figured since my baby will be 6 months old in 4 days :( I should probably post her 5 month pictures. I know all parents say this but seriously where does the time go?!

Bananas

As of yesterday our little muchkin is eating food. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad about this. She sure did enjoy herself though. How can I be sad at a face like that? I speak for both David and myself when I say that she just melts my heart. :)

As you can tell Bananas turned out to be a HIT! She was so cute! We fed her some today and I couldn't keep them coming fast enough.
