I love that my family lives so close! Megan and Kenny beg to have sleepovers every weekend. I'm not sure why, I'm not THAT cool. :) Rachael's been able to come a few times too, when she's not busy with friends or going on dates. (geesh that is so nuts!) We've had the chance to have about 3 or 4 sleepovers since the family moved back from Utah. We've done some pretty cool things like making smoothies for breakfast, eating tons of junk food, facials, grocery shopping, watching movies, tie-dying shirts, painting nails, being bums and staying in our pj's all day and making forts. Most times they come up with a plan all on their own. It's great and we seem to always have a good time! I love being a big sister.

I Cry The Day I Take The Tree Down

This years Christmas was wonderful and we were lucky enough to spend it with both families. I look forward to Christmas time all year and now it's time take the decorations down, put away the smelly candles and wait for Christmas to come again next year. But we are lucky enough to have the knowledge of the true gospel in our lives and we can remember the true meaning of CHRISTmas all year round! Merry Christmas everyone!
Here are some candids of this years Christmas...

Carlie opening presents

My dear husband playing on my family's new Wii Fit. What a weirdo! :)
These pics were actually from the Bellagio atrium in November when Uncle Rex and Cat came to visit. We had a great time with them, I only wish I had more pictures. Sadley these were the only ones. (We used the one of us for our Christmas cards. I really liked them and they look Christmasy. :)
Sweet 16

My sweet sister Rachael is 16! Where does the time go! I can't believe my baby sister can officially drive and DATE. Scary! We went to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe and spent the day Christmas shopping. She was lucky and had made a bet with David earlier that year that if she didn't kiss any boys and one boy in particular he would give her $200 dollars. Needless to say his wallet is quite a bit lighter now and she has yet to kiss a boy. I made her a cute bracelet to help her remember why we didn't want her to kiss any boys and I hope she does! Know that we are proud of you Miss Rachael! Happy Sweet 16!
the BUG
David being the thoughtful husband he is was going to take my car in to have the oil changed and had planned to suprise me. Well I ended up having the day off and kinda ruined his plan. So we both went to take my car in. We were so thrown off by me having the day off that we had forgotten to tell the auto guys to NOT roll my window down. So what do they do, roll my broken window down! It was really cold that day and David's car was in the shop. We had to drive across town that day as well. We were left with two choices to eithter drive with the window down and one of us in the passenger seat OR rent a car for the day. (now I'm sure we could have put something in the window and been fine, however renting a car sounded like more fun!) Hence, the white bug. We took it out to Mt. Charleston and dirtied it up pretty good.
The ride was fun but we learned two things...
1. don't ever rent a car from, ENTERPRISE
2. don't buy a bug, they're not as great as they look

Dance Recital
Our sweet nieces Carlie and Claire had a Christmas dance recital that we were able to go to. (Heather please correct me if I'm wrong) :) Carlie was a little scared and didn't end up dancing when we were there. She watched from her mom's lap while Claire danced beautifully. They are both great little dancers. They love to show us what they have learned when we visit them! They're so stinkin cute! Thanks Heather and Aaron for having twins!
